Missfire Martinez

An accessible twist on the classic Martinez, designed for the Australian climate and enjoyable year ‘round! The juicy flavours from Missfire Gin can mean maraschino liqueur can be omitted – one less ingredient to need on hand for a cracking tipple.

The Martinez originated in the late 1800s. Traditionally, it's made with gin, sweet vermouth, maraschino liqueur, and bitters. It is often garnished with a twist of lemon or orange peel. While it packs a punch, the combination of gin, sweet vermouth, and maraschino liqueur creates a complex and balanced flavor profile that is rich and aromatic.

Serve as a pre-dinner drink or as a dessert cocktail, a versatile choice for a variety of occasions!

Twelve months ago, we floated the idea of making something exclusively for our members; something one off and never to be repeated. It needed to be something for the collectors to add to their gin shelves and moreover, we had to make a product we were proud to share, and one delicious enough to get past our tasting panel!
