Moonshiner usually bottle at 500ml. For this release they pressed a limited 700ml run in a squarer silhouette with a repositioned label, made for Garden Street members, then set aside.

Head distiller Tim wanted a gin built around macadamia: rich, buttery, and notorious for overpowering a spirit. So the team reached for pomelo, an oversized ancestor of grapefruit, grown on a friend's farm south of Sydney. Seven recipes later, this is what they landed on.
Moonshiner Newtown is a six-person co-operative tucked into Sydney's inner west. Tim behind the still, with Georgie, Jane, Andy, Andrew and Bryan alongside him, naming their releases after the streets of Newtown since 2020.
Golden Grove Street is our second collaboration with them. The first, Margaret Street Signature Gin, has since collected awards from the IWCC, London Gin Awards and the Australian Gin Awards. This one hasn't been tasted by anyone else yet.
