While Yours & Mine Gin goes well with just about anything, Geordan and Lindon recommend trying it alongside a good old-fashioned serve of fish and chips by the water – “have a greasy plate of fresh, South Australian seafood (oysters, prawns, squid, tuna) and then sit back to a Seaside Martini. It’ll rock your socks off!”
INGREDIENTS
- 60ml Yours & Mine Gin
- 15ml Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth
- 3ml Olive brine
GARNISH
- Lemon peel
- Sicillian olives
METHOD
At least 30 minutes ahead of time, put a Martini glass into your freezer. First fill up a mixing glass with ice, then pour in vermouth, then strain out. Add gin, olive brine, and stir for 16 seconds or until the outside of your glass is all nice and frosty. Double strain into martini glass, express lemon oils over the drink and rim the glass with peel. Garnish with olives and enjoy. Excellent after (or with!) your favourite fish and chips.
